Hello, My name is Tracey. I am a wife, sister, daughter, and mother of three. I have taken photos of my children and family members for years. My love for photography became a passion when I received my first 35mm SLR from my wonderful husband for my 1st Mothers Day. Nothing captures a moment in time like a photograph. It is my desire to capture images that reflect life's moments as you remember it.

Bad Call....

Okay, I know it happens sometimes, but it really stinks when it happens to your kid. Our second baseball game was last night. The team was playing really well. The score was tied at the end of the 4th inning. Thomas (last in the line-up) gets up to hit. We have a runner on third base. He smacks the ball hard. He runs like crazy to 1st and the runner on third makes it home (YEAH). The ball is thrown to first base; the first baseman misses the catch he is safe - Thomas runs like crazy to 2nd!!! (Exciting huh?) The first baseman scrambles to get the ball and threw it to 2nd. Thomas tags the bag, and runs slightly past it. He steps back on the bag as the 2nd baseman catches the ball and is running to the base. The second baseman pushes (not intentionally) Thomas off the bag, and Thomas is called out. The other team's coach even said that he should not be out because he made it back to the base before his player got to the base with the ball.... That SUCKS!!!! Well we sucked it up and didn't make a big deal about it. Then the next inning rolled around... The other team got a run (slopping playing -mostly my kid - he missed a ball it went past him). Then it was our team up to bat - all we needed was one run. The pressure was on again.... Two outs and Thomas is up to bat. He hit 3 foul balls, and then missed on the last swing... Game over. We lost by one run.... :0( SO in my mind, if the bad call hadn't been made we could have won the game.... Oh well, it happens sometime! Good thing there is always another game to be played....

Thomas getting some batting practice in....

Spending some time just hanging out before the game.
