Hello, My name is Tracey. I am a wife, sister, daughter, and mother of three. I have taken photos of my children and family members for years. My love for photography became a passion when I received my first 35mm SLR from my wonderful husband for my 1st Mothers Day. Nothing captures a moment in time like a photograph. It is my desire to capture images that reflect life's moments as you remember it.

Oh a Camping we will go....

The time is almost here! The boys are so excited - and so am I! We will be leaving this Friday for a 9 day camping trip with 22 of our closest friends! Yes I said 22 so you add my family that makes 27! Sounds like fun - huh??????
We will have a great time! My friend Bobbie Jo, is the Organizing Queen! She planned a menu so we all are eating basically the same meals. We will cook and eat together. It is so nice to just relax with our families and friends. We are really lucky to have such a big family.
Speaking of luck, my friend
Kim Ponzi is watching my boys every other week now. My Mom takes care of them too. I am so lucky to have both of them to help me out. Kim helps me sooo much! She is one of the nicest people I have ever met (aside from my Mom-she is the most kind hearted person that has ever walked this earth - some people see that has an opportunity to take advantage of her - but that is another story). Kim spoils me - bad. But I LIKE it! She brings her kiddos over and the boys have a blast! They LOVE Madison and Lee. She cleans like there is no tomorrow - see I told you she spoils me!!!
The Boys are going to stay over and Grammy & Grandpa's house tonight. Frank and I will get busy packing the camper. We have to get finished up so we can roll on Friday!!!

I will check back in soon.

The Boy's received trophies for Tee-ball at our Tee-Ball picnic last weekend. They were so VERY proud. The team also presented Frank (my hubby) a plaque in appreciation for sponsoring their team this year. Thomas will start playing Rookie ball in the fall. He has improved so much over just a few short months. Tyler and Tanner will play again in the spring. We found out at the picnic that our coach will be Thomas' coach for Rookie ball. I was so excited Coach David is so good with the kids. He gives lots of encouragement and that means alot. Some folks get WAY to serious.
We are getting prepared for our camping trip scheduled for week after next. We are heading down to the beach with several other families. I have lots of pre cooking to do. Oma is going to teach me how to make German Potato Salad. I can't wait. I will be bringing my camera for sure this time!

Busy, Busy, Busy

I have been so busy lately, I have not had any time to post. I have worked 47 hours overtime in the last 4 weeks. Needless to say, I have been at it hard. If you could see my house, you would know that I have been working too hard. Laundry is piled to the roof in the laundry room and there is enough crumbs on the floor under my table, I could feed an army of mice.
We did manage to take the boys camping on Memorial Day week-end. (I worked 15 hours that week-end!) They had a GREAT time! Other than the annoying camping neighbors everything was fun. We took the kids to see Grave Digger (monster truck) and the freaked out! They saw 4 different Grave Digger trucks, Monster Mutt and the Batman truck. They even got to meet Dennis Anderson, the owner and (was) driver of Grave Digger. He autographed a flag for them to hand up in their toy room. We went to the beach on Sunday and I got COOKED. I looked like a lobster. The boys have nice little tan lines now, but no sunburn!
We are planning our next camping trip now. We are heading down to the beach with several other families. We can't wait. We will have lots of fun!
The kids had the T-ball picnic and received their trophies. They were soo proud! I put each of their trophies in their rooms next to their pictures which include a picture of themselves and picture of their team. I found out that Thomas will have the same coach for Rookie Ball this fall! I was tickled about that! He is such a great guy!

Well that is all for now. I will try to get the trophy pictures posted soon....

later! :0

My little Sister

My little sister is getting married May 9th of 09. I can not believe she is old enough to get married... I remember when she was born. I was 10 years old and remember it vividly. It is so hard to believe that she is all grown up now. She has almost finished college - I am so, so proud of her. She is the first member of my family to graduate from college. I hopefully will be the second (one day...) Anyway, she is going to marry a pretty special man. He is a great guy! She and I (along with my mother) went to look for wedding gowns last Saturday. I think she may have found her dress. She was absolutely breath taking. I was holding back the tears. I know I am going to be bawling my eyes out when the actual event takes place. I can't imagine how beautiful she will be on her wedding day! She asked me to serve as her Matron of Honor. I have to say I am thrilled to be standing next to her. I am honored to have such a great little sister! I am surfing the net trying to help her find the perfect location (while being as "gentle" as I can be on my Dad's wallet). I hope I can help her find the perfect place. I will be heading down to the beach this week-end. I am going to try and find some information for her while I am there. (She is going to get married on a beach -somewhere:0)) So wish me luck!
And thank-you Stevie for being such a great Sister and a great Friend!

Tadholes

The other day, we were driving down the road and Tanner was looking through his Montessori bag. He was fumbling through his works and found a coloring sheet that was showing the different stages of how tadpoles turn into frogs. Here is how the conversation went.....

"Look Mommy, first the tadhole is a fish, then the tadhole grows some arms, then the tadhole grows some legs, and then the tadhole is a frog!" He was so proud of himself! Frank and I were in the front seat about to die laughing.... We didn't have the heart to tell him that it was a tadpole. That is one conversation I don't think I will ever forget!

Here is a picture from Ladies Night. We always have such a great time!

Mothers of Boys....

I found this new message board/website based on nothing but mothers of boys! I am excited about meeting some "new friends" who can totally relate to what I am going through sometimes.... Being the only female in the house can be tough! Thank the Good Lord I have best friend Kim whom I can call anytime to just vent. It will be neat read about other MOB's experiences. I am sure I will be able to relate..... Here is the link MOB
