About Me

My photo
Greenville, North Carolina, United States
Hello, My name is Tracey. I am a wife, sister, daughter, and mother of three. I have taken photos of my children and family members for years. My love for photography became a passion when I received my first 35mm SLR from my wonderful husband for my 1st Mothers Day. Nothing captures a moment in time like a photograph. It is my desire to capture images that reflect life's moments as you remember it.

Thomas

Thomas

Back and Ready to Go Again!

We had a great time on vacation. All the kids behaved so well. We spent a lot of time at the beach and the pool. It was one of the most relaxing vacations I believe I have ever had. The boys had great time learning to body board. Thomas, Tyler and Alex were really getting into it. Caroline already knew how to body board. Her Daddy (Matt) was raised at the beach and body boarding is in his blood. So Caroline “taught” the other kids how to catch a wave.

We enjoyed really nice weather for most of the trip. Our last full day there was kind cloudy but we made the best of it. We had a tornado warning on Saturday night. We (the women) gathered all the kids up and headed for the bath house. The guys were trying to tie down what they could. It ended up the warning was lifted (Thank the Good Lord) and all was well the rest of the evening. So we all packed most everything up that evening. So our pack up on Sunday morning was minimal.

The Breault’s joined us for a late breakfast and day trip to Jockey’s Ridge. The kids had a blast climbing the huge sand dune. Even Mattie Rose made the trip to the top (with the help of her Mommy and a baby carrier). On the trip home, Matt’s truck decided it would be a fine time to break down (in the middle of NO WHERE). No cell phone service either. Frank and I finally got a hold of them on the phone for a brief moment and proceeded to turn around to go get them. We had quite an adventure getting home but we made it – all safe and sound.

It took about 3 days to get the camper unpacked and cleaned. And now we are heading off again for the 4th of July! I have lot to do tonight….

Tanner turned 4 years old yesterday! I can’t believe my “baby” is 4. Frank made the statement that we don’t have any babies anymore and he is right. We do still have little Mattie (I just love the little girl soooo much!). We celebrated on Saturday night with our friends. We also celebrated Madison’s birthday too. It is GREAT when you can combine 2 parties in one! Makes things a little cheaper that way! Tanner’s choice of restaurant was Pizza Inn. Nana, Pop, Grammy and Grandpa joined us for dinner and cake. Tanner got a “Big Boy” bike with a flag and lights on the wheels! He also got a new play station game and a new body board! I think his favorite gift was the monster trucks! He is all boy!
I will post pictures soon…

Here are a few from our camping trip….
