Hello, My name is Tracey. I am a wife, sister, daughter, and mother of three. I have taken photos of my children and family members for years. My love for photography became a passion when I received my first 35mm SLR from my wonderful husband for my 1st Mothers Day. Nothing captures a moment in time like a photograph. It is my desire to capture images that reflect life's moments as you remember it.

Ever been this tired???

Every morning I get the kids up and dressed then down stairs for breakfast. The boys are often still half asleep when come down for breakfast. They normally perk up after a couple of bites. I then head back to my room to work on the make-up and hair. One morning last week I did the usual routine, and when I walked back from my room here is what I found...
I had to laugh.. Poor fellas....

Looks comfy huh??? He was REALLY asleep!

Tyler had enough energy to make it to the couch!

Tyler's Birthday

My Tyler turned 6 years old yesterday! I can't believe that he is growing so fast. Grammy and Grandpa were in town to help celebrate! Nana, Pop-Pop (my folks), & Grammy and Grandpa (Frank's folks) joined us last night for Tyler's birthday dinner. He chose to go to Longhorn's for dinner. We had to wait for about 30 minutes for a table (not too bad). We enjoyed our dinner and then the wait staff came by to sing to Tyler. He got an ice cream brownie to eat. He even shared with his brothers. Then we came back to the house for cake and presents. We are having the "official" birthday party this afternoon.
I will be posting more pictures tonight!
Frank entertaining while we wait.
Tyler and his ice cream brownie.
Present time! BTW he got the elbow and knee pads too!

The Gravedigger birthday card! He thought this was AWESOME.

Carve A Pumpkin

I received an email with a link to go Carve a Pumpkin. The boys had a great time playing around with this. Get you little guys & gals to take a stab at it! LOL

Please give more attention to these writers!

Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award.
Because I want to bring attention to the fact that October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month, I am nominating all Blogs that love someone with Down Syndrome.

NC State Fair

Yesterday Frank and I took the boys to Raleigh for the NC State Fair. We had a really great time. The boys got to look at animals, play games, eat hotdogs, and ride a few rides. The prices were HIGH DOLLAR! It cost $20 for the family to ride the ferris wheel. We went around a total of 4 times! So needless to say, we were limited to how many rides we could ride. The boys did not mind at all. There were lots of things to see so we stayed busy checking out all the exhibits! Here are a few pictures from out day!

Checking out the chickens...

Frank shows the boys a tractor that looks like one Grammy and Grandpa have.

Tanner gets a prize.

Tyler plays a game.
Thomas' turn!
The boys watch bees make honey.
The boys meet the character Super Why from PBS Kids.

This robot walked around and talked to the boys. He even called them by their name!
Frank, Thomas and Tyler on the Scrambler.
Thomas, Tanner, and Tyler on "car" scrambler (for the little guys).
They loved every minute of it! Look at those faces.

Silence....

My house is silent right now.... AHHH. It doesn't happen a whole lot around here. The boys are at my mom's for the night. Frank and I had 2 parties to go to tonight. My friend's 40th birthday party and a dinner party too. We had to eat @ both parties and we are stuffed! We are now home and the TV is not even on. Silence is wonderful sometimes. My little guys will be back with me first thing in the morning. We are going to the state fair! I hope we have good weather!

Show and Tell

Friday is show and tell day at school. Tyler's choice today was a new toy car he got from a Happy Meal from McDonalds. It has a little light on it so he thought it was really cool. Thomas' choice was his bracelet he got in his goody bag from the Buddy Walk. The bracelet is stamped with the words Buddy Walk Down Syndrome Awareness. I asked him what he was going to say about his bracelet. He told me where he got it from. I then asked him what the Buddy Walk was for. He told me it was where kids got to play games and some of them had Down Syndrome. I asked him what Down Syndrome was. He then proceeded to tell me that it meant that it takes a little longer for kids with Down Syndrome to learn some things. Then he said "Well, it means that they get to play longer before they have to be a grown-up." And he is kind of right! I just thought that was too cute....

It is never too early to educate your children about special needs of all kinds....

Baseball Pictures gone bad....

Thomas' coach called me on Sunday night and asked me to take a team picture. So tonight was Team Picture Night! I got all the boys lined up, and started snapping shots. I then started taking individual shots of all the boys with their bats. I took all the pictures and thought they turned out pretty good. I was a little worried about the lighting... but all was well.... EXCEPT!! When I downloaded the pictures, what do I find????
In EVERY ONE of the individual photos, there was a lovely water bottle (TRASH) in my photo!!!
I have spent the last 2 hours using a blemish tool to remove the bottle. (I don't have photo shop) Did I mention we took them in front of a fence? Hence I had to make sure the fence still resembled a fence after removing the water bottle....
I have learned, to take a better look around before I shoot next time! Anyway here are a couple of team pics!

Picture Tag...

I have been tagged by a blogger buddy from My Three Sons to participate in a Picture Tag Game. Her is what you have to do.

Go to your pictures and find the 4th file, 4th picture and post it.

Then you tell the story behind the picture.

Then I get to pick 4 people to tag. It is sounded like fun so here is my picture.

This is my personal masseuse! Tanner is applying lotion to my legs. We were camping at the Outer Banks this past June, along with 24 of our closest friends. Yes, I said 24! There was a total of 29 of us if you add in Frank, me and the boys. Majority of them were kids. We camped for 9 WONDERFUL days. Our days were filled with body boarding, swimming in the pool, shopping and fishing. We even took the ferry over to Ocracoke Island one day. It was a good time, and I can't wait to do it again next summer!
Who is tagged next??
Colepack So funny and really cute kids!
My Three Wisemans Shana has a great blog and lots of pics!
The Colins Clan This is a new buddy - Check out her blog.
Blessed With Girls Just because I know she has lots of old pictures on her computer! No telling what she will find!
